The Lewiston/Auburn Liberty Festival. A Celebration of Freedom.

Across the country, communities are celebrating their independence.

The Liberty Festival is an Independence Day celebration along the banks of the Androscoggin River, and it’s uniquely L/A. With a focus on the Great Falls, the Liberty Festival an example of two communities rich in heritage working and celebrating together.

Friday, July 4, 2025 

4:30PM - TBA

6 PM: Zack Pomerleau-

Zack Pomerleau is a Maine born multi-instrumentalist blues musician based out of Bradenton, Florida. Performing a vast array of classic blues and originals, his love of early amplified blues is evident in his solo harmonica/guitar/foot drum/vocal performances. 

7 PM: Award Winning Robert “Elvis” Washington 

8 PM: Bazinga

9:30 PM – Fireworks!!

6pm - Dance Party with DJ Scotty Dawg

Come Experience aerial arts starting at 7:30 and then catch a dazzling performance at 8:45 PM by Aerial Jade!

12 PM: “A Salute to the American Flag and Retirement Ceremony”

Featuring the 195th Maine Army National Guard Brass & Rock Bands. Please bring any flags that may need to be retired. (Should it rain the event will moved inside at the Franco American Heritage Center, however, the flag retirement ceremony will not take place).
