Festival of Trees has delighted families and supported Cascade Health’s charitable programs since 1993. As we celebrate the 30th anniversary event, we are thrilled to invite you to join us November 22-23 and 25-27 at the Valley River Inn for Festival of Trees 2022: A Season of Light.

A Season of Light:
Throughout the world, winter holidays focus on light to brighten the season. As always, Festival of Trees will dazzle guests with sparkling displays of light while bringing hope to our community through compassionate end-of-life care at Cascade Health’s Pete Moore Hospice House.

Tour of Trees:
A family tradition in Eugene-Springfield! The Tour of Trees features 44 elaborately decorated trees with unique themes from talented designers, available for purchase in the auction. Plus, shop for gifts and decor in the Festival Marketplace, learn new skills from engaging holiday craft demonstrations, enjoy craft activities with the kids, take in a storytime or musical performance at the Fireplace Stage and more.

6:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Cocktails, Crafts & Conifers
New this year, we’re introducing an evening cocktail party featuring engaging holiday craft demonstrations to jump start your creativity. You’ll also signature cocktails, beer, wine and nibbles while you get a sneak peek at the trees and early bird access to the holiday marketplace. A perfect girl’s night out, couples’ activity or work group outing to indulge in some grown-up fun before the holiday season kicks into high gear!

6:00 p.m: Hybrid Silent Auction
Gift baskets for everyone, beautiful holiday décor and gift certificates to keep you entertained throughout year. The silent auction at Festival of Trees has enticing packages to make gift shopping or some well-deserved self-indulgence easy and fun. Just bid on your smartphone (or with our bid assistants) and if you’re outbid later, you can raise your bid right from home.

We welcome our community’s seniors for a special Tour of Trees day on Wednesday. sponsored by KVAL. Join us for desserts and coffee, photos with KVAL’s news anchors, live entertainment and shopping in the Festival Marketplace. Entry with a senior-discount suggested donation of $5.

5:30 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Starlight Celebration Gala
The evening of Friday, Nov. 25, Cascade Health’s annual holiday gala will be a magical, memorable evening. Join us for delicious food and drinks and a live auction featuring gorgeous trees, exciting trips and other unique packages. Proceeds from the evening help Cascade Health’s Pete Moore Hospice House provide care and comfort to patients and their families during the final phase of life.

4:00 p.m - 5:30 p.m: Light Up a Life Candlelight Ceremony
The holidays can be a difficult time for people who have lost a loved one. Balancing happy memories with feeling of profound loss can be hard. Light Up a Life is a tree and candle lighting ceremony that gives people of all spiritual backgrounds the opportunity to pay tribute as we read the names of those who have passed. The event is open to everyone in the community and is free to attend, though we require an RSVP and ask that you consider making a $15 donation.
