The Seaboard Festival is held annually in downtown Hamlet the last Saturday in October. The Festival is a family friendly event featuring crafts, kids events, food and a variety of entertainment. Each year, the event sponsors a regional car show, Conductor’s Call, and a 5K race event.

The 41st Annual Seaboard Festival 5K is the perfect way to start the traditional celebration in Hamlet!

5k event starts at 8:00 am

Place:
Calvary Baptist Church 406 McDonald Ave., Hamlet, NC

Course:
The 5k (3.1 miles) course is a loop covering rolling hills. There will be an aid station at the 2.2-mile mark.

Registration:

5K: $30 until 9/30/23, $35 starting 10/1/22
Virtual 5K: $37 until 9/30/23, $42 starting 10/1/23

Live Music

The stage will be located at the top of Main Street. Jonathan Robinson Music will perform from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, The Sand Band from 12:00 pm-2:30 pm, and The Special Occasions Band from 2:30 pm until 5:00 pm.

Car Show - 9AM TO 2PM

If you love classic and antique cars, explore the Seaboard Festival’s Annual Car Show. Owners compete each year on the lawn of the Hamlet Depot for prizes and bragging rights. Do you have a car to enter into the Car Show? Registration takes place on the day of the Seaboard Festival! Sign up on the back porch of the Hamlet Visitors Center.

Food Trucks, Vendor Booths, Kids Activities and Entertainment

Entry fee $20 first car, $10 each additional car. Registration begins at 8:30 am. All makes and models welcome. Several award categories are available. Cash prizes are awarded for the top 3 cars.
