Get your Silly Santa Fun Run on this Thursday with the Amity Island Running Club. Meet at Bad Martha’s at 5:30 p.m.

9:30 a.m, 4:15 p.m: Horse Drawn Carriage Rides with the Harbor View Hotel
Harbor View Hotel and the Edgartown Board of Trade are offering a $100 promotional rate for horse drawn carriage rides during Christmas in Edgartown. This will include a 30-minute private ride starting at Harbor View Hotel and around Edgartown in a festive horse drawn carriage.  The carriage ride will take you by beautiful decorated homes, picturesque meadows overlooking the ocean, Eel Pond, historic Edgartown village dressed in garland and bows and Edgartown Harbor. Cozy up with hot cider and a warm throw during this festive time of year.

5:30 p.m, 6:30 p.m: Lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse
A time honored tradition, Edgartown’s version of a tree lighting is full of seaside village charm. Thank you to the MV Museum for the annual holiday lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse, which takes place at 6pm sharp, with help from a local charity. But you can come celebrate with us at Memorial Wharf for a great viewing spot and countdown! Beginning at 5:30 PM Edgartown’s favorite mascots, non-profit concessions, caroling, give-aways and maybe the Man In Red himself! This fun event is brought to you by Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.

10:00 a.m, 4:00 p.m: Edgartown Patrolman's Association Stuff-A-Bus
Help the Edgartown Police Department bring joy to island families this season. Bring a gift to their annual Stuff-A-Bus event. All toys will be donated to the Red Stocking Fund, which ensures the toys donated go to local families. They cannot accept electronic gifts (tablets, cell phones, video games, etc.). Most requested items include: Legos, action figures, baby dolls, sports equipment, and bikes. If you cannot make it to Christmas in Edgartown, donations can be dropped off at the Police Department starting December 1st.

10:00 a.m, 4:00 p.m: 30th Annual Christmas in Edgartown Art and Crafts Festival   
This annual holiday event features the work of some of our amazing Island artists and craftspeople. Join them in celebration of 30 years of a wonderful Edgartown tradition! Free parking on site. Food concessions provided by the 8th Grade Class. Come take care of all your holiday shopping Benefiting Edgartown School Class of 2024. 11:00 a.m, 11:45 a.m: Christmas in Edgartown Parade
Join us for the holiday magic on Main Street! Don’t miss the fun, floats, animals, music, dancers, kids, fire engines, and of course Santa. The parade will take place on Main Street between Pease’s Point Way and Water Street. (Rain or shine)

Venture into the Village Green for the winner Edgartown Village Market,  local artisan shopping and concessions! Artisans and more in the hidden right in the center of our Historic District. Food and beverages available for purchase, benefitting local non-profits. Thank you to the Vineyard Preservation Trust for their partnership and use of this wonderful Edgartown park. Weather dependent.

8:45 a.m, 9:45 a.m: Holiday Hustle 5K Walk or Run
The Martha's Vineyard Boys and Girls Club is excited to be hosting the "Holiday Hustle" as part of the Christmas in Edgartown festivities. All ages and levels are encouraged to run or walk this 5k course that weaves through downtown Edgartown. We encourage you to show your holiday spirit by wearing festive holiday attire, awards will be given for best dressed. Dogs and strollers are welcomed.

9:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m: Pancake Breakfast with Santa
Join the culinary team from the Martha's Vineyard Boys and Girls Club as we transform the club into a winter wonderland for this family fun pancake breakfast with Santa. We will have a delicious meal and lots of fun kids activities for your little ones. This is the perfect way to cap off Christmas in Edgartown weekend.

11:00 a.m, 1:00 p.m: Holiday Dog Show with Al Fresco Tails
Dress your for four-legged friend for the Holiday Dog Show Stop by the Mini Park from 11 am, 1 pm on Sunday to enter your pal, take a photo, and continue on your merry way. Winner will be selected and announced later in the day on Visit Edgartown’s social media. Sparkle, shine, costumes and cheer are strongly recommended.
