7:00 p.m: Kayla Marque: Opener of Portals
Join us for an unforgettable evening with Kayla Marque, one of the Boulder region’s most captivating musical voices. Born into a deeply creative family including her uncle, Larry Dunn of Earth, Wind and Fire Kayla’s artistry is a genre-bending fusion of ethereal pop, R&B, and soul, weaving themes of self-discovery, mental health, and empowerment into hypnotic soundscapes and raw, heartfelt storytelling.

Join us for an extraordinary evening with Gabriel Santiago, an internationally recognized Brazilian guitarist and composer possessing "virtuosic brilliance" (Jazz 91.7 FM KRTU) whose music seamlessly blends jazz, Brazilian music, and classical composition.

7:00 p.m: Rocky Duval: Hildegard, Reborn
Hildegard, Reborn, a new show by Rocky Duval and directed by Alyssa Weathersby that takes a unique look at the life and work of the extraordinary personality of Hildegard von Bingen. Despite immense challenges of life in the 12th century, von Bingen made her mark as a composer, writer, spiritual leader, the first German naturalist scientist. Today, she is considered a pioneer of feminism and holistic healing.

7:00 p.m: Josh Halpern and Scott Ordway: Letters to My Daughters
At the heart of this powerful evening is Letters to My Daughters a new work by composer Scott Ordway and the first-ever new commissioned work by the Cultural Caravan, part of a new initiative exploring the inner lives of today’s most compelling composers. This deeply personal new piece by acclaimed composer Scott Ordway ("Exquisite" The New York Times) unfolds as a series of musical letters to his young daughters, blending music and text into a searching reflection on love, memory, and inheritance.

7:00 p.m: Raul Murciano: Cuban Crossroads
Pianist and composer Raúl Murciano, Jr., a founding member and musical director of Miami Sound Machine, brings an intimate, stripped-down performance to the Cultural Caravan, joined by a hand-selected ensemble of top Latin musicians from across the country. For this special concert, Murciano presents a personal and story-driven take on Cuban and Latin American music, blending his distinctive piano style, rich harmonies, and the Afro-Cuban rhythms that have shaped his career.
With decades of experience spanning touring, composing, producing, and teaching, Murciano has worked across genres from Latin jazz to orchestral music and film scores. A longtime professor at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, his deep connection to Latin music traditions informs both his performance and storytelling. This concert offers a rare opportunity to experience Murciano’s artistry in a setting that strips the music to its essence - intimate, vibrant, and deeply expressive.

After ten days of concerts celebrating artistic diversity across Boulder, the Cultural Caravan’s MainStage headliners unite for one extraordinary night of shared music and newfound connections. Now a beloved tradition, the Festival Finale is the Caravan’s marquee event a joyful and spirited culmination of our season, where boundaries between genre, culture, and audience dissolve. This year’s edition promises to be an unforgettable celebration of collaboration, creativity, and community.
Join early music mezzo-soprano Rocky Duval, cellist Josh Halpern, pop and R&B singer- songwriter Kayla Marque, Cuban bandleader and pianist Rau?l Murciano, and Brazilian guitarist-composer Gabriel Santiago for a not-to-be-missed performance blending their distinct musical worlds into something greater than the sum of its parts. Through songs, stories, and spontaneous moments, they’ll remind us why music at its heart is all about connection.
