52ND ANNUAL DEUTSCHESFEST

With thousands of visitors annually, there are plenty of attractions for all ages—authentic German food, city-block big biergarten, live music, a parade, kids zone, street vendors, helicopter rides—just to name a few. 

Deutschesfest is put on by local descendants of the German-Russians who settled in Odessa at the beginning of the 20th Century. A strong appreciation of good food, drink, music and dancing has been handed down through generations to give this festival a touch of care you’ll only find from those with true hometown pride. This gives you the perfect reason to get the family together, break out your lederhosen and dirndls and load up the motorhome or trailer to bring everyone out for a weekend of fun.

5PM—Sidewalk Chalk Art, Wheatland Bank (ages 2-12), Sign-Up 4:45PM

6PM—Tricycle & Bed Races on First Avenue, Sponsored by Hair Haus and McGuire, DeWulf, Kragt & Johnson

Bed Races will follow the Tricycle Races

7PM to 11PM—Biergarten Opens! (no minors)

If you feel like burning off some brats or bier, then join us for the annual Fun Run. The 5K and 10K runs start on Saturday at 8:30AM at the public park.
