We can’t believe this is our 5th Annual Sausage Festival! This event has become our favorite way to close out the Fall Festivities for the season before we gear up for the holidays. Celebrating our Pasture Raised Pork sausages, made at our processors and eaten at restaurants all over the region, or housemade at the home of the brand in Fairview- it’s all delicious, and it all encapsulates the whole animal model. We will have the perfect pairings for a perfect sausage party: beer, cider, pretzels, mustard, kraut and POLKA!

Live Music by local legends Das OomPapas of Marion, NC. These guys are incredibly talented, high-energy polka and festival band who get the party started and keep everyone in the spirit.

Sausage Sales off all of our sausages, retail and housemade, day of Festival only!

Sausage Sampling, we will keep a rotating variety of our sausages and salamis sampling at the Farm Store all throughout the event, just in case you can’t decide!

Kinfolk Food Truck will be serving the greatest of grub, featuring our Sausage, meats and local ingredients.

Hillman Beer, one of our favorite breweries and partners will be bringing all the seasonal suds including their immensely popular Hillman Oktoberfest aka FestBier! We will also have a limited-edition sausage made in house featuring Hillman and all the favorite fall flavors.

Meg Chamberlain of Fermenti Foods will host a fun and funky “Fermentation Basics” demo to hear, smell and taste the process, accessible for all ages. Our salamis, pretzels, krauts, beer and ciders are all fermented- the ‘proof’ is in the jar!

Barn Door Ciderworks of Fairview, Blunt Pretzels, Fermenti Foods, AND Appalachian Makers Collective vendors will be in attendance with local goods and flavors!

Blunt Pretzel cart will have your hot fresh now giant pretzels and lil bites served up all day with Lusty Monk Mustards- perfect to appease the hungry little hoards or to balance your beer.

Games for all ages to enjoy together; Pie walk to win a local NC Apple Stuffed pie, the Pretzel pass game- winning side gets a prize! Raffle featuring local goodies, trail rides for 2 in Fairview and more- each attendee including kids get a ticket.
