The annual event celebrates the history of Holloway with an emphasis on baseball. The Holloway Old Timers Baseball Association organizes the event. The festival began as a reunion for former railroad workers who loved to play ball and has grown into an event enjoyed by residents and visitors. Celebrity players of the past have included Cy Young, Johnny Blatnik, and Ray Miller. The festival is known for good home cooking and starts with soup beans and ham with cornbread and roast beef sandwiches on Friday and gets better from there! The event includes daily live entertainment, flea market and craft tables, Chinese auctions, and a 50/50 raffle. Saturday starts at 11 am with a pig roast offering pork and sauerkraut and pork sandwiches, and ham and soup beans until gone with various vendors, hayrides, a car show, and an Old Timers and Fireman's Parade. Sunday opens at 11 am offering chicken dinners and a horseshoe tournament at 1 pm. The Holloway Old Timers Baseball Association organizes the event.

We are the longest running baseball festival like this in the country! We will serve our staple foods, like Ham & Bean soup w/cornbread, pork and beef sandwiches and BBQ chicken, all cooked over an open fire similar to how they did in 1948 when this festival began. Sno-Cones and cotton candy trailer will be here to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Holloway has a rich history in baseball and the railroad. Visit will old friends and reminisce. Enjoy the vintage baseball team featuring the Canal Dover Redlegs vs the “Holloway Railroaders,” a Car & Bike Show, a Garden Tractor pull by the Harrison County Lil Hustlers, Chinese Auction & Flea Market and Craft vendors will set up stands, and of course the parade! There will be old-time games for kids like a Dunk Tank, Hay Rides, and DJ music & Karaoke.
