  • Closed Sun., Jan. 1.
  • Resuming regular hours on Mon., Jan. 2 for fosters, adoptions, and rescues.
• Field Services
  • Emergency calls only on Sun., Jan. 1. Regular service hours will resume on Mon., Jan. 2.
  • Emergency services such as an animal bite, a seriously sick or injured animal, or an animal trapped inside a living space of a home will be provided throughout the holidays by calling 911.

Leisure Services

• Facilities
  • Closed Sun., Jan. 1 and Mon., Jan. 2. Reopen on Tue., Jan., 3 under regular hours of operation.
• Parks
  • Open from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Sun., Jan 1 and Mon., Jan. 2, except for Sandy Creek Park, which will be closed on Mon., Jan. 2. 
  • Regular hours of operation will resume on Tue., Jan. 3.

Solid Waste

• Residential and commercial Solid Waste customers' (outside the Downtown district) service will be suspended on Mon., Jan. 2. During this shortened week, additional trucks will help collect items each day early beginning at 7:00 AM. Once collection is completed for a service day, trucks will immediately begin collecting the next day's cycle until the end of the shift and resume pick up the following morning. As a result, roll carts should be placed out on the morning of the day earlier than scheduled to make sure they are collected.
• For the the week of Jan. 2, customers should have carts ready for collection as follows: 
  • Monday customers should have carts out for collection before 7:00 AM on Tuesday, Jan. 3, since Monday's collection is suspended.
  • Tuesday customers should have carts out for collection on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 3.
  • Wednesday customers should have carts out for collection on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 3.
  • Thursday customers should have carts out for collection on the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 4. 
  • Friday customers should have carts out for collection on the morning of Thursday, Jan 5.
• Residential and commercial (inside the Downtown district) garbage and recycling service will be collected on the regular schedule.
• Leaf & Limb will collect the week of Jan. 2 in Area C. There will be no collection on Mon., Jan. 2.
• The landfill will be closed on Sat., Dec. 31, resuming regular hours on Mon., Jan. 2.
• The CHaRM will be closed on Sat., Dec. 31, resuming regular hours on Tues., Jan. 3. The CHaRM is only open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
• Solid Waste offices will be closed on Mon., Jan. 2, resuming regular hours on Tue., Jan. 3.
• The Materials Recycling Facility will be closed on Sat., Dec. 31, resuming regular hours on Mon., Jan. 2.

Transit

• Sat., Dec. 31 - Weekend service levels including on-demand evening service.
• Sun., Jan. 1 -  No Transit Service
• Mon., Jan. 2 - No Transit Service
• Tue., Jan. 3 - Resuming regular service. Hourly service only continues on routes 12 & 14 through Mon., Jan. 9.
• Offices will be closed on Mon., Jan. 2, resuming regular hours of operation on Tue., Jan. 3.
