Field Services

Sat., Jan 14 - Mon., Jan 16 - Emergency on-call only. Emergency on-call services - such as an animal bite, a seriously sick or injured animal, or an animal trapped inside a living space of a home - will be provided throughout the holiday by calling 911.
Tues., Jan 17 - Resume regular field services.

Solid Waste

Residential and commercial (outside the Downtown district) garbage and recycling collected by the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste Department will not be collected on Mon., Jan. 16. Garbage and recycling will be collected on the following schedule:
Regular Monday and Tuesday collections will be collected on Tue., Jan. 17.
Regular Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday collections will be collected as regularly scheduled.

Residential and commercial (inside the Downtown district) garbage and recycling service will be collected as regularly scheduled.
Leaf & Limb will be collected Tue., Jan 17 - Fri., Jan. 20 in Area E .
The Landfill will be closed on Mon., Jan. 16, resuming regular hours on Tue., Jan. 17.
The CHaRM is closed on Mondays. It will open on its regular operating schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Solid Waste offices will be closed on Mon., Jan. 16, resuming regular hours on Tue., Jan. 17.
The Materials Recycling Facility will be open under regular operating hours.

Transit

Mon., Jan. 16 - Closed
Tue., Jan. 17 - Resume regular hours of operation. Route 12 will run every 50 minutes and Route 14 will continue to provide hourly service only until further notice.
