Indiana GOP Chairman Randy Head Steps Down:
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman Erin Lucas has officially called a caucus of eligible precinct committee members to fill the vacancy in the office of Indiana State Representative, District 42. The seat was held by State Rep. Alan Morrison, whose selection to serve in the incoming Braun administration as head of the Indiana Department Natural Resources, and subsequent resignation from the Indiana House of Representatives, has created this vacancy.
WHO: Indiana Republican Party Chairwoman, Erin Lucas, will chair the caucus. Individuals interested in running in the caucus should contact the Secretary of the Indiana Republican Party to ensure they file the proper forms prior to the deadline on Friday, January 10th at 5:00 p.m. EST.
The caucus is only open to properly credentialed precinct committeemen or proxies, members of the media, and guests of the party.
