Don't miss this exceptional occasion to celebrate 126 years of the Alliance Française de Denver and to hear about our vision moving forward for the French Community. There will be dinner, drinks, dancing, and more. Details below!
After a 4 year hiatus, L'Alliance Française de Denver is proud to announce that we are back with our annual fundraising gala, featuring the theme 'La Belle Époque'. We would be honored to have you join us for the 2023 Alliance Française Annual Gala, with the featured theme of ‘La Belle Époque’, on the night of Saturday, October 14th. La Belle Époque literally translates to the beautiful era. Paris’ Belle Époque lasted from 1871 to 1914. During this time, Parisian culture saw several important developments in impressionism, cubism, and revolutionized painting as well as graphic designer printmaking to a fine art form. Come join us as we celebrate this transformational period of time! Cocktail attire required, but no need to dress according to the theme.
The Early Bird Prices are out now with several different ticket options, including VIP!
If you or an organization you know are interested in sponsoring this event or donating to the silent auction, please email Rebecca at [email protected]
We appreciate the support of our growing community!

This week, we are pleased to welcome our new administrative assistant, Béatrice Querel!
Beatrice Querel grew up in the beautiful region of France known as Brittany. She pursued her education and obtained a bachelor's degree in Business and Administration from Rennes University. In 1999, Beatrice embarked on a new chapter in her life and moved to Connecticut, pursuing her professional life as Marketing manager. Over the years, she has also lived in New Jersey and Florida, embracing the diverse landscapes and cultures of each location. Recently, Beatrice relocated to Denver after spending the last three years back in her beloved Brittany. When she's not at work, she cherishes quality time with her two French American daughters, (10th and 7th graders), as well as their loyal Berneese Mountain Dog. Beatrice finds solace in nature and enjoys activities such as hiking, skiing, exploring the ocean, gardening, movies and immersing herself in the world of music and art.

A French Au Pair is looking for a new host family!
Here is a message from the family currently hosting her: Manelle is an au pair from France and she arrived in the USA last week. She is temporarily staying with us while she finds a new family. She is very sweet, friendly and outgoing. We are on our second term of having an au pair and have really enjoyed the experience. And, the addition of French around the home has boosted our kids' French skills tremendously. As far as costs, I imagine the the new host family would pay a prorated Agency fee (Cultural Care) and there is weekly stipend of around $200 that the host family pays. The au pairs are permitted to work up to 45 hours a week and live in your home. Please reach out if you or anyone you know if interested. She has two weeks to rematch before she’d be required to return to France, so this is time sensitive. My name is Christine Devore and my cell phone is 619-807-6055 if you’d like to learn more about the program.
