Every day, Red Cross volunteers offer their time to share lifesaving relief and compassion with those facing their darkest moments. It’s thanks to their acts of kindness and compassion that communities can count on the Red Cross for support in their time of need — wherever and whenever it arises.

From providing emotional support to critical disaster relief, Red Cross volunteers provide hope and warmth where it’s needed most. It’s because of them that the Red Cross can provide a scale of lifesaving support unmatched by any charity or government agency.

Whether they’re serving a warm meal in the aftermath of a hurricane, providing essential assistance to one of our veterans or helping families install smoke alarms, Red Cross volunteers are changing lives at every moment of the day.
