From: The ARToberFESTArtWorks Westfield presents ... ARToberFEST, a daylong autumn celebration of visual art, local literature, live local music, sidewalk chalk art and community tiny canvas/CD painting in the heart of downtown Westfield from 10am to 5pm.
ARTISTS ALONG ELM
Gallery art created by local and regional artists will be on display and available for purchase outside on the sidewalk along Elm Street in the Gaslight District ~ the future Westfield Cultural District ~ between the Westfield Athenaeum and Arnold Street on BOTH sides of Elm Street. Up to 75 artists will be on hand to showcase their creativity and talent in mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, collage, photography, printmaking, digital art, functional art, wood, glass, metal, fiber, clay and ceramics.

AUTHORS ALONG ELM
Local and regional authors, writers, poets and publishers, alongside gallery artists, will be along Elm Street in the Gaslight District downtown Westfield, offering their books for sale and talking about the craft of writing. From history to self-improvement; from paranormal and fantasy to horror; from poetry to dark fantasy; from children’s books to mysteries and memoirs and all points and genres in between, you’ll find something to love and read along Elm Street. With holiday season quickly approaching, the gift of reading makes a perfect holiday surprise!
LIVE MUSIC ON THE LAMBSON SQUARE STAGE
Music by local and regional performers will take place on the Lambson Square Stage located in the performance space at 53 Elm Street, adjacent to Mina’s Wine & Spirits throughout the entire day All performances are free to experience. The bands will be completely different than anything you’ve experienced on the Lambson Square Stage. We are leveraging ARToberTEST as a laboratory to test some different musical genres.

- Sidewalk Chalk Art on the sidewalk near the Olver Transit Pavilion.
- Community paint on donated mini stretched canvases and CDs will take place from 10am to 3pm in the open space after Blended Vintage Marketplace. Perfect for kids and kids at heart!
