Animal Services

- The Animal Shelter will be closed on Friday, November 11. The shelter will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, November 12. Fosters, adoptions, and rescues are scheduled by appointment and availability. Those searching for missing animals at the shelter do not need an appointment on days when the shelter is open (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Animal Services officers will not be available for non-emergency calls on Friday, November 11. Non-emergency service calls will resume on Saturday, November 12.
- Emergency services – such as an animal bite, a seriously sick or injured animal, or an animal trapped inside a living space of a home – will be provided throughout the holiday by calling 911.

Leisure Services

- ACC Leisure Services parks will operate under their regular hours on Friday, November 11.
- All other department facilities (Sandy Creek Nature Center, Lyndon House Arts Center, all community centers) will be closed on Friday, November 11.
- All parks and facilities will reopen Saturday, November 12  under regular hours of operation.

Solid Waste

- Solid Waste offices will be closed on Friday, November 11.
- Residential garbage and recycling collection will be on the following schedule: Monday and Tuesday collection will be collected on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday on Wednesday and Thursday and Friday on Thursday. There will be no collection on Friday, November 11.
- Downtown district commercial and residential curbside, roll cart, and dumpster garbage and recycling services will be collected as regularly scheduled.
- All other commercial curbside, roll cart, and recycling service will be on the following schedule: Monday and Tuesday collection will be collected on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday on Wednesday and Thursday and Friday on Thursday. There will be no collection on Friday, November 11.
- Leaf & limb collection will be Monday, November 7 through Thursday, November 10 in Area B. There is no collection on Friday, November 11. The next area is subject to change based on the final collection from the week of November 7 - see accgov.com/leaflimb for current updates.
- The Materials Recycling Facility will operate under regular hours of operation on Friday, November 11 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- The Landfill will be closed on Friday, November 11. Regular hours resume on Saturday, November 12 from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- The CHaRM facility is closed on Fridays and will be closed on Friday, November 11. It will be open as regularly scheduled on Saturday, November 12 from 8:00 AM to Noon.

Transit

- Transit offices are closed on Friday, November 11.
- All Transit services will operate as regularly scheduled.
- Route 14 remains hourly until further notice.

All general departmental administrative offices and facilities (City Hall, Courthouse, Satula Avenue Building, Dougherty Street Governmental Building) will be closed on Friday, November 11. Regular hours of operation will resume Monday, November 14.
