Saturday Hours
September is here and so are our Saturday hours! We are now open for browsing on Saturdays from 9:30-1:30. We will continue our popular curbside pickups on Saturdays in addition to our other open hours.
Monday, October 3 at 10:00 am outdoors
Lorcan and his human Cheryl are back for a fun and furry story time! Join us out on the lawn for some dog-approved stories and a chance to pet this calm, sweet, and soft therapy dog.
Tuesdays at 10:00 am outdoors & indoors
Here’s a chance for the little ones to learn their A-B-C’s. We’ll start outside with stories and songs that feature our letter of the week. Then we’ll head inside for some simple crafts with the special letter. Feel free to join for part or all of the story time. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair for outside. Also, each child can bring something with them that starts with the letter of the week – we’ll do a mini show & tell along with stories. This week's letter is E.
Tuesday, October 4 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the library
Helpers needed for the Bacon Free Library entry to the Festival of Trees at Mass Horticultural Society. This year’s theme is Caps for Sale by Esphyr Slobodkina, with cap-like ornaments that will hang on the tree with monkeys from the Barrel of Monkeys game (donations of the game needed if you have one!). We need people who can trace, cut, assemble, fold, iron, glue or use a needle. We’ll make an assembly line and hang out around the big table and chat while we work. Fran and the Friends of the Bacon Free Library thank you. Sorry, this event is for adults only. No registration required.
