From: Ann Arbor Folk FestivalAs we get ready to roll out the full details of the 48th Ann Arbor Folk Festival next month, we’re excited to announce that Bank of Ann Arbor will once again join The Ark as Folk Fest 2025’s Presenting Sponsor.
“Ours is an exceptional town for the arts, and The Ark is an exceptional performing arts venue,” says Tim Marshall, President and CEO of Bank of Ann Arbor. “For our organization, a community bank that wholeheartedly believes in the power of the arts to enrich people’s lives, supporting The Ark is a no-brainer. We're proud to do it.”
“The Ark will celebrate 60 years in 2025, still thriving thanks to the deep support from members, volunteers, audiences, and community partners.” says Ark Executive Director, Marianne James. “Bank of Ann Arbor is a leader in supporting the work of nonprofits here in Southeast Michigan. They’re a wonderful partner and true champion of live music. Like The Ark, they understand music’s impact: how it builds community and enriches people’s spirits.”
The Ann Arbor Folk Festival is the largest annual fundraising effort for The Ark, Ann Arbor’s non-profit home for folk, roots, and acoustic music. Featuring a blend of renowned and up-and-coming performers, the program provides audience members with the opportunity to hear artists they know and love while discovering great new talent.
In 2025, Folk Fest will return to Hill Auditorium on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25. The festival delivers the full spectrum of “Ark music,” presenting a taste of what’s happening on the leading edge of acoustic music while delving into the very heart of folk and roots traditions. Watch for The Ark to reveal this year’s lineup on Friday, October 18.
