?The festival was officially formed in the 70's, but many of the events were formed long before then. This is one of many Bass Lake tales where many of the details are known by some of our long time residents and visitors. The Bass Lake Festival is a long tradition that solely relies on money generated from fundraisers, corporate sponsors and community support!! Your financial support allows us to offer a festival full of events for all ages.

7:30 AM: 5K RUN / 3K WALK

Prairie Trails is running the Bass Lake 5K Run / 3K Walk. It is a great way to kick off the festival weekend! Join us in this family-friendly event with people of all ages and experience levels! Prizes are awarded to the top male and female  runner in each age division, as well as the top 2 male and female runners! The run will be a chip timed race.

Entry Fee: Pre-registration: $30 includes free festival t-shirt. Day of registration: $40 includes festival t-shirt (size not guaranteed)
Age: All ages welcomed -6 years and up can qualify for medals but 6-9 years must participate with a parent.
Course: Start & Finish at Bass Lake Lion's Club, 4506 S. Prairie St. The course will be marked. The race will run along the beautiful lake!  You will start at the Lions building running towards Woodshed Tap, towards the Harbour House. The turn around is around the corner of 210 and Lakewood/450.

Join the fun at the Kids Zone/Bouncy Houses this year! The bounce houses will be at The Brunch Pub on Saturday, July 29. Please be prepared to bring some cash for some bouncy houses!! Facepainting, magic show, watermelon eating contests, touch a truck, kids fun run and games will be held at this location!

9am to 3pm: CAR SHOW
Join us at Bass Lake for a day of fun for all ages. Music-provided by Texas Thunder Band, 50/50 raffle, door prizes, top 25 awards and more. All cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcomed.

9 AM to 5 PM: COVER YOUR BASS FISH CONTEST
Location: Bass Lake Property Owners Building

10am-2pm: ENTERTAINMENT
The Texas Thunder Band will be playing at the Bass Lake Beach Campground during the car show. Look for live bands & DJ's through the weekend at Woodshed Tap, Bass Lake Pub, Honey Hole, and Harbour house!
