Beach Season At Waukesha County Parks Kicks Off May 12
(Waukesha, WI) – Waukesha County Parks is excited to launch the 2023 beach swimming season at all six beach locations on Friday, May 12.
“Waukesha County Parks beaches are at the top of summer to-do lists for so many of our residents and visitors,” states Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “We are thrilled to kick off summer earlier than in recent years and to offer sunrise-to-sunset beach hours. I invite everyone to join us in the sun and sand!”
Waukesha County Park System beaches will be open with Swim at Your Own Risk (SAYOR) hours every day from sunrise to sunset (pending weather and water conditions). More information on SAYOR beach operations: www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/BeachRules.
Visits to Waukesha County Parks beaches are included in Parks annual memberships and Parks daily permits. Users can purchase five days before or after visit at www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/ParkEntry.
