This event is being coordinated with the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society in 2024. A true treasure, the Bethel Historical Society offers a rich and complex picture into our past,
along with insights into the surrounding area. It is a dynamic and fun place to spend time!

Summer fun with food, craft, & community vendors on the town common, live music, wildlife show and lots of other kids' activities, parade, and fireworks! Small town fun on the town common in Bethel, Maine.

Schedule:

July 19, 2024

1:00 - 4:00 pm - Bethel Library Book Sale  5 Broad Street

7:00 - 10:00 pm - Live music in several venues around the area

7pm - 10pm Suds Pub Friday: Brad Hooper LIVE

July 20, 2024

On and around the Bethel Town Common Saturday

10am - 4pm: Craft, commercial and community vendors on Common

10am - 3pm (with a break for the parade):  Children's activities on the lawn of the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society (MBHS)

10am - 4pm:  Bounce house for kids on lawn of MBHS

11 am:  Parade (line up begins at 10 at the River Lanes Parking lot) - Theme is “Celebrating the Olympics”

Noon - 1pm: Wildlife Encounters Junior Zookeeper Show on Gazebo

1pm - 4pm: Totally Rad Band on the Gazebo.  More info: thetotallyrad.net  Band members are: Kevin O’Reilly, Doug Alford, Krister Rollins, and Russ Murley

6pm - 9pm:  The Fossils on the Gazebo - come bring your dancing shoes and enjoy this great band featuring Rod Royer, Mike Cyr, Steve Sessions, Jim Whitman, Angie Lovejoy, and Butch Fuller

9pm:  Fireworks at the Bethel Resort & Suites

Guided tours of the 9 period rooms, including Rufus Porter School wall murals (donations requested)
