LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – On Friday, February 16, 2023, the Governor signed into law:

SB180, to amend the law to adopt certain terms and requirements established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.

SB214, an act for the Department of Human Services – Division of Medical Services Supplemental Appropriation.

HB1059, an act for the office of the treasurer of state – animal rescue shelters appropriation for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

SB42, to amend the practice and regulation of counseling and marriage and family therapy; and to remove the requirements for full-time employment and for seeking additional training and specializations.

SB57, to modify the fees charged by the Arkansas State Medical Board; and to authorize the Arkansas State Medical Board to reduce fees if the fee reduction is in the best interest of the state.

SB87, to amend Arkansas law concerning the creation and implementation of the code of arkansas rules.

SB98, to amend the certificate for benefits for burial associations; and to clarify the percentage payable to substitute service-providing funeral homes based on membership data and proximity to the contract funeral home.

SB99, to amend the reporting requirements for burial associations.

SB132, to reduce the license application deadline for applicants to practice chiropractic in this state.

HB1171, to amend the law concerning the requirements for religious denominations to qualify as self-insurers.

HB1265, to amend the real estate license law; to modify the definition of “licensee” under the real estate license law; and to allow a broker or salesman to do business as a professional limited liability company.

HB1321, to amend the law concerning truck platooning systems.

SB111, to allow certain insurers to offer family leave insurance.

SB141, to amend the prior Authorization Transparency Act; and to clarify that a healthcare insurer from out of state is subject to the prior authorization transparency act if that healthcare insurer has subscribers in this state.

SB114, to amend the filing of campaign finance reports; to amend the law concerning candidate contribution filings; and to amend portions of Initiated Act 1 of 1990 and Initiated Act 1 of 1996.

SB100, to amend the law permitting a law enforcement officer to transport a person in crisis to a sobering center.

HB1198, to amend the law concerning early voting on county holidays.

HCR1007, to provide for an extension of the regular session of the Ninety-Fourth General Assembly; and to provide for a recess of the General Assembly.

HB1344, to set the minimum container size of spirituous liquor to be sold for off-premises consumption.
