BSCC Holiday Decorating Contest

The community along with our Holiday Chamber Cheer Team will be the judges.

Prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd Place Commercial Businesses and 1st Place Residential.

Valid votes for businesses must include business name for residential, physical address.

Voting ends 5 PM 12/19 - winners will be announced at the

Farmers Market on 12/21.

Right now I'm laughing at myself because I really messed up the dates for the Holiday Decorating Contest in last weeks eblast and the next issue of the Borrego Sun. Who knows what calendar I was looking at!

Anyway the correct dates are listed above.

This is open to the entire community so make sure and vote!

The FAM from Japan had a wonderful time in the valley. They raved about the night sky, Rams Hill, and the desert landscape they very seldom see. Also mentioned was how nice the locals are. My thanks to everyone they talked with. Coming in January is a FAM from France, I told them about our fun group of French here in Borrego.

I'm hoping they'll have time to meet the group.

We are looking for part-time volunteers to help out from January to May in case one of our regular team members has a last minute schedule change.

This would be only when needed and only if you are available.
