Join us for this hands-on Story Time program geared for you curious and tenacious four to five year olds. Children will participate in different activities that provide room to explore concepts presented in the stories through STEM activities. Registration required; space is limited. Narcan is the brand name of the generic naloxone and is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids - including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription medications - when given in time.
This Free Narcan training will provide participants with a brief training on how to recognize an opioid overdose, when and how to use Narcan, and a free kit to take home. The kit includes:
- 2 doses of Narcan
- Fentanyl test strips with instructions
- Face shield
- Instructions on Narcan administration
- Recovery resource guide
This training is provided by clinicians within the Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health and will be held at the Boylston Public Library.

Homework Help with Teen Mentor

Autor Talk: Bob Young’s "Walk to Wachusett with Thoreau"
Thursday, Jan. 12, 6-7pm
Join us for this presentation by local researcher and author Bob Young, who reenacted Henry David Thoreau's walk to Mount Wachusett from Concord in 1842. Consisting of a three-day excursion through the towns of Concord, Acton, Stow, Bolton, Lancaster, Sterling, West Sterling, East Princeton, and Princeton, Bob's walk is believed to be the first complete recorded re-enactment of Thoreau’s journey. The presentation will provide historical background information followed by a series of pictures and explanations of what he found and learned along Thoreau’s route.

Meditation With Love and Gratitude
