Brevard County Approved For FEMA Transitional Sheltering Assistance

Transitional Sheltering Assistance is now available for Brevard County residents who are in need short-term housing accommodations due to damages stemming from Hurricane Ian.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved Transitional Sheltering Assistance for Brevard County, and allows for temporary short-term accommodations for eligible survivors when other housing options are not available.

Survivors who have already completed a FEMA application will be notified automatically if eligible for this program. Survivors who have not yet applied for FEMA Individual Assistance can apply the following ways:

In person at the Disaster Recovery Center, located at 2331 Harry T. Moore Ave. Mims, FL 32754, open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
