Viera, FL - Brevard County Fire Rescue will be holding the second annual Brevard County Fire Rescue Firefighter Sponsorship Signing Day.  

We are inviting 33 sponsorship recipients to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) officially securing their award of a sponsorship from Brevard County Fire Rescue (BCFR).  

Through the sponsorship, the candidates will attend Eastern Florida State College for Emergency Medical Technician and/or Fire Academy training with the intent of beginning employment with BCFR as a Firefighter/EMT. Since the program’s inception in 2021, BCFR has hired 11 sponsorship recipients with an additional 15 recipients currently enrolled in training.
