From: Brevard CountyMediterranean Nutrition Class Now Available
Are you interested in eating healthier in the new year? Then consider joining us for our new Med Instead of Meds nutrition class! The Med Instead of Meds program teaches participants how to eat like those who live in the Mediterranean region. This style of eating has been shown to promote health and decrease the risk of many chronic diseases, including diabetes and heart disease.
This six-week series is perfect for anyone looking to improve their eating habits and learn more about healthy eating. Topics covered will include food demonstrations, tastings, tips, and lessons on how to eat the Mediterranean way.
This class will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension office in Cocoa every Monday, starting on Jan. 30 through March 6, 2023. There are two time slots available to choose from. Advance registration is required, and the cost is $35.
