Waukesha, WI - Bridges Library System proudly congratulates the distinguished recipients of the 2023 Wisconsin Library Association's (WLA) annual awards and honors. The library team is thrilled to have three outstanding individuals from within the Bridges Library System acknowledged for their dedication and passion for the library field. We extend our congratulations to Connie Meyer, Amy Schlotthauer, and Lisa Baudoin on their honors and awards.

2023 Library Hall of Fame Inductee: Connie Meyer
Connie Meyer is dedicated to the advancement of libraries in Wisconsin and beyond. Her extensive career, marked by leadership roles as Director of Bridges Library System, Director at Fort Atkinson’s Dwight Foster Public Library, and many other library organizations, has left an indelible mark on the profession. Trustee of the Year: Amy Schlotthauer, Menomonee Falls Public Library
Amy Schlotthauer has served as a library trustee and president for the Menomonee Falls Public Library Board. Her donation of skills and her vision have played a pivotal role in the library's strategic successes. Her efforts to promote literacy and access to resources have made a significant impact on the community.
