In celebration of National Honey Month, The Cardinal at North Hills, a Kisco Signature Community, recently welcomed local beekeeper, Leigh-Kathryn Bonner from Bee Downtown for a lively and interactive presentation titled “The Buzz Worthiness Bee-hind HoneyBees.”

This engaging session explored the significance of honeybees in everyday life, their biology, and their vital role in pollination and honey production. Attendees learned about Bee Downtown’s efforts to support honeybee populations and got an up-close look at bees in an enclosed observation hive.
