Halloween is just weeks away! Shawnee is providing several ways for ghosts and goblins to get into the spooky spirit!

Bring your broom to Downtown Shawnee for Moonlight Market: Halloween Hoopla on Thursday, October 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be local vendors, live music, food trucks, and kids' Halloween activities. Follow the Event page for updates.

Historical Hauntings is a real scream! Slither by Shawnee Town Museum on Saturday, October 26 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 p.m. for trick–or–treating, hayrides, and costume contests. There is a $1 suggested donation to benefit Shawnee Town 1929’s educational programs.

The Shawnee Civic Centre is hosting an Adaptive Recreation Costume Party on Sunday, October 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. It will feature dancing, games, and spooky treats. Admission is $10. Register over the phone at 913.631.5200 or by clicking here.

Your little ones can get a head start on trick-or-treating by visiting Spookfest on Thursday, October 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dress up in your favorite costumes and join us as we hunt for treasures and goodies at the Shawnee Civic Centre. Admission is $5. Make sure to register soon!
