AN EVENING OF CHAMBER MUSIC will be held at the Ives Concert Hall at White Hall on the Western Connecticut State University Midtown Campus, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT. This concert is open to the public and free for all to attend.

Soloist to large ensembles perform Inconvenient Wounds by Reene Esmail, And Birds Are Still by Takashi Yoshimatsu, Nifrasch by Jon Cziner, Mother Goose Suite by Maurice Ravel, and The Unanswered Question by Charles Ives, with addendum by Paul Frucht

7:00PM: CIMF Orchestras at Ives Concert Hall, Danbury, CT

Chamber & Orchestra Performance Program Musicians

CIMF Orchestra Directer Eric Mahl leads the Orchestra, featuring the 2024 CIMF Concerto Competition winner, and conductor Jacob Joyce leads the Chamber Orchestra, featuring select CIMF musicians, in a special evening of orchestral music.

The CIMF ORCHESTRAS concert will feature selections by the CIMF Orchestra, including a performance by the winner of the inaugural CIMF Concerto Competition as soloist with the orchestra, and selections by the CIMF Chamber Orchestra. The concert will be held at Hagman Hall at the Visual & Performing Arts Center on the Western Connecticut State University Westside Campus, 43 Lake Avenue Ext., Danbury, CT. This concert is open to the public and free for all to attend.

An exciting evening of music including works by Dvorak, Mendelssohn, Ives, Paul Frucht, Duke Ellington, Maria Schneider and more, and featuring 2024 CIMF Artists-in-Residence Grammy-winning violinst Charles Yang, concert pianist Peter Dugan, and acclaimed mezzo soprano Kara Dugan

TRAILBLAZING features the CIMF Artist-Faculty and the 2024 CIMF Artists-in-Residence Grammy winning violinist and member of Time For Three, Charles Yang, concert pianist and host of From The Top, Peter Dugan, and highly acclaimed concert soloist mezzo soprano, Kara Dugan. The concert will be held at the Ives Concert Hall at White Hall on the Western Connecticut State University Midtown Campus, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT. This concert is open to the public and free for all to attend.
