Yes, it is a bit theatrical and a bit tongue-in-cheek, but that's entirely the point. Veteran and award-winning stage actor and play director Darryl Maximilian Robinson ( The Founder of the multiracial chamber theatre The Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago ) shares some of his most favorite things from one of his most special places.

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of his long-departed, but not-ever forgotten multiracial, Non-Equity professional, classical and contemporary chamber theatre, The Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago and its 1997 award-winning revival productions of "Master Harold And The Boys" by Athol Fugard, "Waiting For Godot" by Samuel Beckett and "Long Day's Journey Into Night" by Eugene O'Neill ( all produced and presented at the much-missed Heartland Cafe Studio Theatre of Rogers Park ), as well as the 30th Anniversary of the world premiere of his original one-man show of Shakespeare and time-travel comedy, "A Bit of The Bard", ESC Founder, Artistic Director and Producer and Los Angeles-based Theatre Artist Darryl Maximilian Robinson joined forces with long-time Excaliber Productions, Ltd. Of St. Louis Member and Supporter J. L. Watt, now a gifted West Los Angeles visual artist, photographer and videographer to create a momentary place where certain historic ESC honors and some recent City of Angels stage experiences could be archived and documented in a FUN WAY!
