You are invited to be mindful of the following needs and concerns in your prayers this week:

 - We pray to see glimpses of resurrection everywhere we look.
 - We offer prayers for Paul Brennan.
 - We continue to pray for Karen, Melissa’s sister who is overjoyed with the recent bloodwork that indicators show are in normal range including the cancer indicator. Karen sends her warmest Aloha for all the prayers and blessings!
 - Good news from Brenda and Michael that his appetite is improving and he gained 10 pounds!
 - We pray with the family of beloved long-time CCU member Pat Gilbert, who has transitioned to hospice care in the care home where she has been living for some time now.  We are thankful for Pat’s 35 + years of ministry with CCU, especially in the kitchen and with fellowship events.
 - We continue to pray with Jessie Albertson for her Grandma Su's friend Donna Witsell as she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. We also pray for Jessie's cousin who is mourning the loss of a grandmother.
 - Lets us pray for Laurie and Rob Seaver. Rob is being treated for a cancer condition.
 - We continue to pray with Heidi and her family as the mourn the loss of Paul Snipes, who passed away on January 27th. We pray for comfort and the love of their community.
 - Prayers of healing for Laurie's friend Sheri Gon. Sheri is recovering from surgery.
 - Prayers of comfort for Laurie Baron at the loss of a dear teacher, Haunani Kauka. We ask the Lord to light her path with love.
 - Please pray for strength and a fast recovery for Paul and Melissa Belanger who continue recovering from COVID.
 - Donna’s mom Cecelia Gilcher- Powers with her MAC (Mycobacterium avium complex) progressing and more invasive treatment needed. Prayers for the next 3 months that the side effects would be minimal and that the treatment would be effective.
 - Please keep George Wyman in our Prayers. We pray for him and his health at this time

We invite you to use the poem below as a guide for a time of prayer and mindfulness during the Easter season:

“And the Glory” by Ann Weems

The silence breaks into morning.
That One Star lights the world.
The lily springs to life and
not even Solomon …
Let it begin with singing
and never end!
Oh, angels, quit your lamenting!
Oh, pilgrims,
upon your knees in tearful prayer,
rise up
and take your hearts
and run!
We who were no people
are named anew
God’s people,
for he who was no more
is forevermore.
