SUNDAY WORSHIP IN-PERSON & ONLINE
Join us for worship this Sunday at 10am HT in person and online via FB live.

SPECIAL EVENT ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 30 AT 6PM
A screening of The Letter will explore how spiritual values unite us in the face of a planetary crises of the climate, biodiversity, and a livable future. This builds on our ongoing initiatives to protect the most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters.

The event will take place on SATURDAY, SEPT 30 starting at 6:00 PM at CHURCH OF THE CROSSROADS, 1212 UNIVERSITY AVE in HONOLULU. Join us for refreshments and introductions before the film, which will air at 6:30 PM. Following the film, we will reflect on and discuss the film and how we should respond as people of faith.

Maui county officials are asking for monetary donations while they work to sort and distribute the material goods that have already been donated. Here are a few options for financial donations:

SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION MONTH

Suicide continues to be one of the leading causes of preventable death for Hawai‘i residents. On average, almost four people die from suicide every week. A total of 1,003 residents died from suicide from 2018 to 2022. More than 76% of individuals in Hawai’i who die by suicide are men, with men ages 20 to 59 years old at the highest risk.

FOODLAND GIVE ALOHA 2023

This September, Maika'i members are invited to donate up to $249 to participating non-profit organizations. Organizations will receive 100% of all customer donations given to their organization, plus a portion of Foodland and the Western Union Foundation's.

All volunteers are welcome, come when you can-leave when you must, snacks provided!

CCU SUNDAY PARKING
The CCU Council approved a month-to-month agreement with the FarmLovers Market  for use of the makai side of the CCU parking lot on Sunday mornings 8 am to 12 pm. The CCU lot will serve as overflow parking for the weekly market now located at Adventist Health Castle.  For more info about the market:
