Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the Christmas season! Watch as our 26ft musical Christmas tree lights up the night sky. The ceremony takes place at the beach area, following the Electric Light Parade. Be sure to bring your appetite as we hope to have food vendors. This festive event will also feature live music and a special speech from the mayor. Don't miss out on the holiday cheer!

Music Fest  (TENTATIVE)

Movie Weekend

Join us for a cozy Christmas movie night this year! We'll be showing The Polar Express and Saving Santa on both nights, so you can choose which classic holiday film you'd like to see. Bring your friends and family for a night of laughter, surprises and a warm holiday atmosphere! Seats are limited so make sure to book your spot in advance!

Gaming Weekend

Get ready for the ultimate gaming experience at our Gaming Weekend! With jump houses, a video game truck, corn hole, miniature golf, face painting, music, and more, this event will entertain gamers of all ages. Bring your friends and family for a weekend of non-stop fun and excitement.

Fireworks Show

Get ready to ring in the new year with a bang with our Fireworks Show! At midnight, we'll light up the sky with an unparalleled display of colorful explosions that will take your breath away. There’s no better way to welcome in the new year than with friends and family, under the stars and surrounded by the magic of our fireworks show.

Boat Tour (No Boat Tour on December 24)

The tour departs from the Christmas Village at the turn-of-the-century Pecos River Park in Carlsbad, and continues for 40 minutes through 360 degree, panoramic views of decorated islands, boat docks and back yards illuminated by hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights.

You'll float by gorgeous homemade and professionally built displays of Santa's workshop, the Southwest desert, and more!

The reflections of all those lights shimmering in the river create a magical and unforgettable spectacle your family will remember for years to come.

It'll come as no surprise to anyone who's taken the tour that Christmas on the Pecos was named one of the top 100 must-see events in North America.
