The night ends with the lighting of the Christmas tree symbolizing the beginning of all the holiday events that make Dunedin so delightful this time of year. Intergenerational Week provides an opportunity to honor children, teens, adults and elders; and celebrate people of diverse backgrounds, ages and the gifts and experiences they can share with each other. Free activities during the week include an Essay Contest, Intergenerational Drum Circle, Preschool Power Hour, Music Mash, Chair Volleyball and more.
Historic Preservation in Dunedin
Dunedin's quality of life is profoundly linked to the appreciation of its diverse and colorful history. Dunedin has changed significantly since the first land deed was recorded in 1852. However, significant historic structures in the town help identify, preserve, and promote Dunedin’s unique village-like quaintness, character and charm.

Join us Tuesday, December 6 at 7pm for an exciting virtual chat with the highly-acclaimed and award winning novelist, Geraldine Brooks in conversation about her most recent New York Times Bestselling novel Horse.
