From: City Of Flagler BeachOn behalf of the S.R. A1A Strike Team partners, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to Community Listening Sessions being held Thursday, January 19, at Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens, in Volusia County and Tuesday, January 24, at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church Parish Hall in Flagler County.
The State Road (S.R.) A1A Resiliency Strike Team includes representatives from FDOT, the City of Flagler Beach, Flagler County and Volusia County. The team is exploring options to repair and strengthen approximately 13 miles of S.R. A1A to make the roadway, beaches and dunes, serviceable, functional, and resilient for decades to come. These Community Listening Sessions are being held in an open house format to give the public an opportunity to learn about potential options, ask questions and provide ideas and feedback. Community members may attend the listening sessions anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The same information will be presented at both listening sessions.
Please see and share the below invitation and project flyer to neighbors and others who may have an interest in this effort.
