Community Development Block Grant Program
To All Interested Parties:
The City of Rialto is now accepting Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project Application Forms from City departments and community organizations seeking funding to implement eligible housing, community and economic development projects consistent with CDBG regulations at 24 CFR Part 570 and the goals of the City of Rialto 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan. The City anticipates receiving approximately $1.2 million of CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Applications shall be for activities designed to meet one of the City’s four Strategic Plan goals included in the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan: (1) Community Facilities and Infrastructure Improvements, (2) Public Services for Low-income residents, (3) Housing Preservation, (4) Fair Housing Services. Public service projects meeting Strategic Plan goal (2) must benefit low- and moderate-income people.
A workshop will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. virtually through the following Zoom link to explain the application process and answer any questions:

Applications must be delivered to and received by the City of Rialto Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department Office, Attn: Aknesa Ananikyan, CDBG Program Consultant, 214 N. Palm Ave. Rialto, California, 92376 no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, February 10, 2023 in order to be considered. No Late Applications, Faxes or Postmarks will be accepted.
