Tree Lighting Ceremony • Friday, Dec. 2 (6:30 p.m.)
For over three decades, we’ve kicked off the holiday season with the Tree Lighting Ceremony, where residents and their families gather together outside City Hall to celebrate together as we turn on the Christmas tree lights. This free event will include a visit from Santa and festive musical performances from a variety of acts, including an energetic Holiday Hop with Butch Wax & The Hollywoods. Come on out and celebrate the most wonderful time of year with your family and neighbors!
NOTE: Bring your own lawn chairs and refreshments to this event. Seating is limited!Make your own ornaments, enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, and help the St. Peters Police Department trim their tree at the St. Peters Justice Center. Holiday Dance • Friday, Dec. 16 (6:30-9:30 p.m.)
Dust off your cowboy boots and join us for our last City Centre Dance of 2022! Come in your favorite holiday attire and dance along to the music of Silver Wings. Let’s end 2022 with a big yeehaw! We recommend bringing your own food and snacks. Light refreshments will also be sold at the dance. Present your Cultural Arts Centre membership card or Resident Privilege Card for a discount.
Winter Wonderland On Ice Show • Friday, Dec. 16 (7-9 p.m.)& Saturday, Dec. 17 (5-7 p.m.)
The Rec-Plex's North Rink will come to life with an enchanted Winter Wonderland on Ice as our wonderful Rec-Plex skaters and synchronized skating teams dazzle with the beauty and skill of their original programs. Beloved holiday characters join in the festivities to make this a delightful event for the whole family. Tickets are on sale at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Road.
