The Blood Drive will be held at Shawnee Town Hall at 11600 Johnson Drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Every donor will receive a free Chiefs t-shirt! For more information, visit cityofshawnee.org/calendar.
Join us at the John B. Glaser Fire Station Headquarters at 6501 Quivira Road on Wednesday, December 21 at 4 p.m. for a Fire Station Project Groundbreaking! It's time to vote on the homes in our Shawnee Rocks the Lights contest! Voting on our Facebook album is open until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20. The winner will be announced on December 21 and will receive a sign to put in their yard so everyone knows that they rocked the lights this year! Vote here!
Every year, Mayor Michelle Distler hosts fundraising efforts to help local organizations of her choice. This year, Mayor Distler chose Shawnee Community Services and Mercy and Truth Medical Missions as recipients! There are several ways you can help out including online donations, bluebird box dedication plaques, and purchasing a Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund candle, shirt, holiday card or ornament at the Shawnee Town 1929 Gift Shop.
