The meeting began promptly at 6:00 pm with Mr. Jeff Hazelrigg leading the Pledge of Allegiance. A quorum was established by roll call and the Consent Agenda was passed unanimously.
In business from the floor, Mr. Julio Ramirez requested the Council consider his request to fill in the drainage area within his property limits. The Council agreed to take the request under consideration.
Seeing no further business from the floor, seven ordinances were presented to the Aldermen. All passed unanimously.
#4595 authorized payment to Viking-Cives for work on the snow plows.
#4596 authorized payment to Metropolitan Community College for Fall 2022 Police Academy.
#4597 authorizing purchase and payment to Joe Machans Ford for an F550 to be used by the Public Works Department.
#4598 authorized payment to Wil-Pav for sidewalk repairs at various locations.
#4599 authorized payment to Schulte Supply for water repairs at various locations.
#4600 authorized payment to KJ Remodeling & Krete Construction for replacement of a concrete driveway.
#4601 approving a lease agreement between EVERGY Missouri Midwest and the City of Sugar Creek.
The 5PM scheduled study session was postponed as the presenter called in sick.
