JOIN US FOR FISH FRY FRIDAYS!

The annual Fish Fry is back! This year, online ordering and pick-up is available at four convenient locations across the Park District including Big Met, Sleepy Hollow and Shawnee Hills golf courses as well as Emerald Necklace Marina on Fridays through April 7. Merwin's Wharf will also have fish fry specials every Friday!

WE'RE HIRING!

Cleveland Metroparks is hiring for a wide variety of seasonal positions in preparation for the 2023 spring and summer season.

The award-winning “Best in Nation” Park District is inviting applicants to its annual seasonal job fair on Saturday, March 11 to explore dynamic career opportunities across its 18 park reservations, golf courses, dining, retail, marinas and nationally acclaimed zoo. Attendees are asked to pre-register at clevelandmetroparks.com/JobFair2023.

Seasonal positions are available for ages 16 and up and most positions offer a 40-hour workweek with employment dates ranging from spring through mid-October.

OH BABY!

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo recently welcomed a baby swamp monkey on February 13! This is the first swamp monkey born here since 2009. As their name suggests, swamp monkeys live near water and are natural swimmers. The baby along with mom (Luella), dad (Fenn) and aunt (Izzy) can be seen on exhibit at the indoor Primate, Cat & Aquatics Building during regular Zoo hours.

THE PUPS HAVE A NAME!

Thanks to your support, Cleveland Metroparks Police Department’s K-9 puppies have their names! The male Belgian Malinois puppy has been named Fury and the male German Shepherd puppy is named Rip! Both puppies are continuing their police training before they will be sworn into service across the Park District.
