From: Collier County Public LibraryCollier County Public Library’s Homework Centers Re-Open for the New School Year
We're thrilled to announce the reopening of the Homework Centers at the Golden Gate and Immokalee Libraries, part of the Collier County Public Library system. Mark your calendars for August 14th and 15th as the respective reopening dates. These centers provide an invaluable opportunity for students in Collier County to access free academic assistance. Our dedicated team is composed of former educators and paraprofessionals from Collier County Public Schools who are eager to support students in their studies.
At both locations, we have staff members who are fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds can receive the help they need. The Homework Centers offer much more than just academic support; they provide a welcoming environment for students to meet their peers, participate in engaging activities, and enjoy some snacks after school.
The Golden Gate Library Homework Center will be open from 3-6 PM on Mondays to Wednesdays, while the Immokalee Library Homework Center will welcome students from 3-6 PM on Tuesdays to Thursdays. We are excited to invite students in grades K-12 to join us at their preferred location. Stop by to meet our staff and take advantage of this invaluable resource!
The Collier County Public Library’s Homework Centers are financed in part by U.S. Department of Treasury, Under Federal Award Number 596000558, and Collier County Community and Human Services Division.
