This year's topics:

• Snowy Owls, with Rebecca McCabe of Hawk Mountain and Project SNOWStorm (this one will be really great!).
• Protecting birds from building crashes, with Viveca Morris and Meredith Barges of Yale; and the unequal nature of birds in Connecticut's cities, with Diego Ellis Soto, also of Yale (2 presentations about 2 of Connecticut's most critical conservation issues).
• The threats from visitors to the state's beach-nesting birds, with our own Stefan Martin and Beth Amendola, who works for our friends at Audubon Connecticut.
• Bird finding and photography, with Heather Wolf, who plies her trade at Brooklyn Bridge State Park (this one will be nothing but fun).

We have an array of our own experts—Heather Kordula, Ken Elkins, Stefan Martin, Matt Bell—to introduce the speakers and guide the conversations.

All proceeds go toward improving habitats on our sanctuaries.
