Conservation Celebration Week

Placer Land Trust invites you to join us for Conservation Celebration Week, a series of fun and festive events highlighting land conservation in Placer County and celebrating the community that makes our work possible! During the week of October 23-29, we will shine a spotlight on the value of permanently protected lands with a reception at the beautiful La Provence Restaurant & Terrace, a family-friendly event on Placer Land Trust’s Laursen Bear River Preserve, and a week-long online auction, where you can win vacation stays, one-of-a-kind experiences, beautiful local art, and more. There will be something for everyone!

At both events we’ll be honoring Robert Weygandt, the recipient of the 2023 Placer Conservator Award. As a former Placer County Supervisor, he was a leading voice in balancing development in the county with the protection of natural resources, working lands, and the scenic beauty of our area.
