Killam & Bassette Farmstead offers Fresh from the Farm Dinners, featuring gourmet menus augmented with our own Killam & Bassette produce and products.

Our products are raised with lots of love & care, and handpicked daily.  “Keep it local, keep it fresh” – enjoy our quality, natural produce and products at a Killam & Bassette Fresh from the Farm Dinner.

Enjoy your gourmet meal surrounded by the picturesque fields which provide such wonderful bounty.  Live music, wine & beer tasting all evening, SoG Coffee, Hosmer’s drinks, hayrides, & a wonderful evening under the stars complete your evening.

100% of the proceeds from our dinners will benefit the Judy Lynch Memorial Scholarship Fund, in honor of Chris Bassette’s mother and will benefit Glastonbury High School Seniors in 2020 totally based on community service, work ethic, & financial need.  We are proud to have helped 2 young Glastonbury adults over the last 4 years. We are very proud & honored to be handing out over $10,000 this coming year!  Thank you to everyone who makes this possible.

Course One
-Truffle free-range deviled eggs with micro greens -Biscuits and country ham, pickels, and salted butter
-Smoked shoyu marinated and grilled watermelon with chilled glass noodle salad
-Harissa glazed, grilled carrots with minted cucumber yogurt

Course Two
-Sweet corn and bacon chowder with Yukon Gold potatoes and thyme -Caesar salad with brown butter brioche croutons, scratch-dressing

and shaved parmesan

-Slow smoked chicken

-Blueberry crumble with strussel topping, farm cream chantilly, pickled blueberries and warm blueberry coulis
