Schedule:

The "Old Time Music Festival" area (out back) will be mostly unchanged, but less organized and more spontaneous.

Going back to the basics: Fresh air, rough camping anywhere on the Farm, lots of pickin', post-pandemic relaxation and fun with friends.

We'll have a workshop area and dancing can happen at the Welcome Tent. Public Jam and Song Tents will be available all weekend.  Country Jam on Thurs, Community Dance on Friday eve. Potluck happens on Saturday evening and we'll have a Gospel Sing on Sunday AM

Workshop Tent

1pm – Harry Bolick – Chords for fiddle (and mandolin) players. For backing up another fiddlers, for harmony and most useful, for grabbing a new tune quicker.

We'll run through a couple of tunes, map the chords and look at the chord shapes and see how the tune weaves through them.

3pm – Marge & Tony Sume – Old Time Songs

Best known for their welcoming jam sessions that include SONGS, Marge & Tony will have a great selection of  Old Time Songs, many of which are the "Old Time" Fiddle tunes we play today.  Come join the fun, sing and play along. They will have handouts!

Gospel Sing (in Welcome Tent) – Annie Trimble
Annie Trimble has lead the Song Tent and participated in Gospel Sings at the West Virginia State Folk Festival for many years.

We’ll be singing great old gospel songs from Heavenly Highway Hymns, Carter Family, and bluegrass/country traditions. Words will be provided.
