The Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners got off to a nice lead to start the game through the first five innings, holding the UC San Diego Tritons off 4 – 0. They were unable to keep that stance heading into the sixth, with the Tritons having a late game run out scoring the `Runners by four runs.
