An urgent message from your Douglas County Treasurer’s Office

If you own property in Douglas County and have not received your property tax notification for taxes due in 2023, there’s a problem and we can help.

Property tax billing statements/notifications were mailed in mid-January for payments that are either due in full by April 30; or in half payments with the first half due by the last day in February and the second payment due by June 15.

If you are making half payments and your payment is not received by February 28, the state of Colorado requires the Treasurer’s Office to charge a one percent interest on the first of each month on the late payment.
