Horse Pull
The Draper Days Horse Pull will be held July 10, 2023. This free event is held at the Ballard Arena and begins at 7:00 PM.
About Horse Pulling
Imagine the early 1900's when farmers farmed with horses. One farmer leans over to the other and says, "I bet my horse can pull more than yours." To prove it the neighbor would take him up on that bet, and soon there would be competition between several farmers.
Horse pulling has come quite far from the early 1900's. Although the Amish use horses to do their field work, those horses who labor on the farm for many hours a day don't end up in the Pulling Arena on the weekend. The few farmers that use their pulling stock to haul manure, mow or cut hay, do not do this on a consistent basis. As such, the sport of horse pulling is exactly that: a sport with a team of equine athletes. Come join us for an exciting evening of horse pulling, food and fun produced by the Utah Horse Puller Association.

Facing the foreclosure of their homes, a group of misfit kids embark on a treasure hunt to save their neighborhood. While searching, the Goonies find themselves entangled in a thrilling and perilous adventure navigating underground tunnels, encountering booby traps, and facing off against a family of criminals also searching for the treasure. With their lives and homes on the line, the Goonies learn the importance of loyalty, teamwork, and believing in themselves.
