En garde! It’s a “Dueling Pianos” concert at 7:00 p.m. Friday Feb. 7, in the gymnasium at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville. And you’re welcome to attend!
The dueling maestros will be John Angotti and Craig Colson, both of whom are well-known and highly-regarded in inspirational music circles.
Angotti is a full-time music missionary who travels world-wide providing inspirational music and witness to all age groups though concerts, workshops, retreats, missions, conferences and worship. In addition, he has composed and recorded a full repertoire of sacred music. Angotti also serves as director of music and liturgy at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, Tenn.
Colson relocated to Spring Grove, Ill. in recent years and serves as director of music and liturgy at the Church of the Holy Apostles in nearby McHenry. Previously he had been music and liturgy director in the Phoenix area since 1993. Formerly liturgy liaison for Life Teen International, Colson continues to provide music suggestions for Life Teen liturgy planning guides.
